The Mouse and the Moon Review
A Little BIt About Books January Book Choice
Don’t walk... run…to your local bookstore or library and request The Mouse and the Moon written and illustrated by Gabriel Alborozo. Beginning with the tactile sensation of the book jacket to the soft colors that pop from the black and white illustrations this is a lovely book from the first sentence to the last. The reader cannot help but connect with characters and the illustrations. Excellent word choice by the author throughout. A winning first spread had me hooked, “In a dark and broken tree, in a dark and wild wood, there lived a little mouse. All alone. His only friend was the moon.”
